TrackTunes descriptions

--- One-liner ---

TrackTunes automatically adds the music you listened to during a workout to your Strava activity.

--- Short (about 25 words) ---

TrackTunes connects Strava and Spotify so the songs you listened to during a run or ride are added to your activity description automatically.

--- Medium (about 60 words) ---

TrackTunes connects Strava and Spotify so the songs you listened to during a workout are added to your activity description automatically. It also finds your Power Songs (the tracks you consistently run faster to), builds playlists matched to your natural stride cadence, and plots every song onto the map of your route.

--- Long (about 130 words) ---

TrackTunes is a web app that links a runner or cyclist's Strava account to their Spotify account. Once the two are connected, every new activity gets its soundtrack appended to the Strava description automatically, in order, with no action from the athlete.

The track list is only the entry point. Because TrackTunes lines up each song against the pace and cadence data inside the activity, it can tell you things no listening history can: which songs you reliably run faster to, what tempo your stride actually locks into, where in a route a particular track was playing, and whether you have finished an album across a training block. It then builds BPM-matched playlists from music you already listen to, tuned to your own cadence.

TrackTunes is built and run by one person, Dave Hawkins, a runner and musician in Denver, Colorado. It won Strava's Up & Coming App Award in 2025.

About TrackTunes

TrackTunes connects Strava and Spotify to automatically log the music behind every workout, then turns that history into insight: the songs that make you faster, the tempo that matches your stride, and playlists built from your own listening. Founded in 2025 by Denver runner and musician Dave Hawkins, TrackTunes won Strava's Up & Coming App Award at the inaugural Strava Developers Summit. It is free for your first 15 activities and $20 per year after that. More at tracktunes.app.
